Payment

Your card will be billed in British pounds sterling. For non-UK cards, the actual exchange rate used will be determined by your card issuer.

Orders to outside the European Union benefit from UK VAT of 17.5% being deducted from the cost of the order at the checkout.

As a courtesy to visitors from outside the UK, you can choose to display prices in additional currencies. These prices should be regarded as a guide only as the actual exchange rate will be determined by your card issuer. Non European Union prices are shown with UK VAT of 17.5% deducted.

We now offer the convenience of PayPal as an additional payment option. Once registered, PayPal allows you to quickly make payments online at participating stores with just an email address and password.

You do not need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal as you can still use your credit/debit card as usual on the PayPal website.

Telephone

Pay by phone

If you would rather make payment by telephone you can still shop on the website as usual. Just select the 'Telephone' option on the payment page of the checkout.

You will be allocated a 10 digit order number, but you will need to phone us on 01572 770 955 (UK) / +44 1572 770 955 (international) to make payment and have the order processed.

You can pay by telephone during our shop opening hours.

Refunds & Returns

If you change your mind about an item, simply return it to us in a fully resalable condition within 21 days of receipt.

Refunds are issued within 5 working days.

How to Return

  1. There is no need to contact us to return items.
  2. Complete the supplied returns form noting the reason for return and the order number, sign and date it.
  3. Peel the Murrina address label from the returns form and attach to the parcel with the correct postage. If you no longer have the label, address the parcel as follows: MURRINA, 4 Knights Yard, Gaol Street, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6AQ, and please ensure you include a note of the order number.
  4. Post the parcel back to us. We recommend you send returns by recorded post and always retain proof of postage, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

Conditions of Return

  • Please ensure items are returned in an unused/unworn condition with all the original tags still attached, accessories and manufacturer's packaging.
  • For reasons of health and hygiene, earrings for pierced ears cannot be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.
  • Refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser
  • We do not refund postage charges, and items are returned at your expense (does not apply to faulty/incorrect items).
  • We can only refund or replace items purchased on this website or our Oakham store

How do I know if an item is in stock?

We try to keep good stock levels, but if an item is currently out of stock, an estimated dispatch date will be shown in the product description. You can still order the item, and it will be dispatched as soon as stock arrives. We do not bill your credit card until your order is shipped (or part shipped).

If an item in your order is incorrectly shown as in stock (as does happen occasionally) we will inform you ASAP. We will quote you an estimated dispatch date, and you can cancel the item if it is not convenient for you to wait.

Why haven't I received e-mails from you?

Generally speaking, emails should be received from us within a few minutes after we've sent them. If you haven't, it could be for one of these reasons:

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?

One of the most common causes of allergic reactions to jewellery is the presence of nickel in metal fittings. All metal used in Antica Murrina jewellery is nickel free according to European legislation, and we have had no reported cases of allergic reactions to our jewellery.

Authenticity Information regarding sterling silver and Murano glass jewellery

Sterling Silver Jewellery

For an item to be described as sterling silver (92.5% pure) in the United Kingdom it must be independently tested at an authorised Assay Office and hallmarked accordingly. This applies to all silver items sold in the UK with a weight of over 7.78 grams. Smaller items may bear no hallmark or an indicative '925' hallmark. All sterling silver jewellery sold at Murrina is hallmarked to UK standards.

Murano Glass Jewellery

All Murano glass jewellery sold at Murrina is guaranteed genuine Italian Murano glass.
